We have pets again!

Sunday we went to Jami's favorite store, "The Walmart." We went with a purpose to get at least one fish. Connie was undecided on whether she wanted one or not. It was too late to go to the pet store which is too bad because Walmart is not known for their selection. However, we ended up with two beta fish. Connie opted for the fanicer male fish and named it "Jeffrey Star" after some rock star. Jami picked out a small female and named her "Strawberry Shortcake." The name is about twice as big as she is. We got home an put them in their prospective homes. Connie chose the clear marbles and Jami the multi-color plastic pieces. It is Wednesday and they are both still living. So far, so good...

Father's day

I just had to share this last note...for Father's day...Jami made Jim a tie and several other things but my favorite was a book she made and the teacher wrote down the comments as they asked Jami questions. If you can read this, it askes what her father's name is and her response is "Jami's daddy ' Zebra Gas'!" She had made up this name along with others but I guess this is the one she thought best describes him! The rest of the book goes on to say that she likes to clean the car with him and he buys her presents and he works at the store. It was very cute! Happy Father's Day to all!

2nd graduation of the year...Lauren

This is the happiest I think I've seen Lauren since Princess Jasmine came to her birthday party! Speaking of girls growing up...Lauren has become quite the young lady! She has plans for college and I know whatever she puts her mind to she will accomplish! We had a great time visiting Skip and Teresa with Gran and Papa and spent one night putting on a mystery dinner. That was a blast, we all had parts but some of the characters were a little too close to the real personalities...Kinda spooky!

Gran and Papa got Jami what we would call a "pagent dress" It looks like one of those dresses that the little girls would wear in a Beauty pagent. Anyway, Jami has fallen in love with it! She wore it to church for Father's Day and made every single person she could find look at it! All the way to a very scrungy looking man with long hair and tattoos and after she got through showing him her dress she kept staring at him and then asked him what happened to him because very noticably under his lip he had a large spike sticking out through his facial hair. He was very good hearted and told her he had been hit by a nail! Her eyes got big and her voice escalated as she said, "Oh my goodness, That is TERRIBLE!" Then she skipped over to the next family to show them the dress.

1st graduation of the year...

Now this is the kind of graduation I like to go to...a class of 14 graduating students!

Short and sweet... and I'm not just talking about the kids! We had a wonderful year with Ms Tammy as her teacher. Jami has become quite the little girl! I wish all my kids could have remained 4 forever!

connie's prom

What can I say...Connie looked Awesome! I guess if I want to be hip, I would say "HOT!" She and Tommy looked so cute together! It is so hard to believe she has gotten so big! It seems like yesterday she was dragging around her Jimeny Cricket toy and calling it "Fricket." My little girl with all the nicknames has grown up. She can drive, she finally likes to go shopping, and talk on the phone. (The things I used to be so grateful that she didn't do) Connie is signed up for the yearbook next year, I couldn't be more excited if it were me!

Ashley's Graduation!

Licensed Esthetician...I have to copy and paste this to tell you what she has been working on. Ashley never ceases to amaze us at what she can do! She worked very hard and had some fun along the way but she completed the entire course and graduated...Now back to work! Party time is over! Anybody know of an opening for an Esthetician?
